Fixes and improvements

  • More reliable section timing: automatic sections stay within the actual song, and older cached analysis is repaired without changing your own section edits.
  • Correct template return routing: newly added musical groups use a unique matching template return, such as Tracks → TRACKS or VOX → VOX, without inheriting unrelated sends from another group.
  • Respect separate utility groups: templates with separate Click and Guide groups can reuse those groups instead of receiving an extra combined Click/Cues group.
  • Easier build reports: report a failed build directly from the result with an inline form. Template and diagnostics attachments are selected by default for problem reports, and feedback still reaches support if attachments cannot be collected.
  • Clearer template setup: help beside Groups explains how your group names and stem assignments relate to the template. Reports include more precise section and build context to help us investigate.

Fixes and improvements

  • Simpler MIDI cue presets: saving a preset with the same name replaces the old one. Presets reuse existing receivers without changing their MIDI channel.
  • Correct IAC outputs: MIDI output names now match Ableton, with more accurate loopback detection for properly configured IAC buses.
  • Manage MIDI presets and receivers: delete saved MIDI cue presets and unused receivers in Settings → Library. Receivers in use stay protected, and deleting a preset leaves existing cues unchanged.
  • Library folder selection: changing your tracks folders now keeps library search and song matching in sync.

  • Messy sets fallback: If a session is too ambiguous to classify as a template, TracksBuilder prefers the non‑template build path instead of guessing a template mode.

Known limitations (beta)

  • Session View only. Builder operations target Session View and do not run in Arrangement View.
  • Integrates with Ableton templates for existing key/MIDI mappings, but the builder uses its own layout (as configured in the app). Do not expect template arrangement injection.
  • Subsequent builds in the same app session can fail. Recommended workaround: close and re‑open TracksBuilder before each new build.
  • Build pacing is intentionally conservative for safety and consistency; overall speed will improve during beta.

These limitations are expected to be addressed during the beta period.
